lego marvel superheroes game review
Alright, alright, lemme tell ya ’bout this here Lego Marvel Super Heroes game. My grandkids, they love this thing, and honestly, I kinda get it.
First off, it ain’t like them serious games with all the shootin’ and killin’. This one’s just…fun. Like, real fun. You run around as these little Lego fellas, smashin’ stuff and collectin’ things. It’s like when I used to make mud pies as a kid, but with superheroes and, ya know, less mud.
Now, they say there’s a story in there, somethin’ ’bout Nick Fury callin’ up all the heroes. Honestly, I don’t pay much attention to that part. Too much talkin’ for my taste. I just like whacking things and seein’ what happens. And there’s a whole heap of characters, like, a hundred and fifty or somethin’. My grandkids are always yellin’ out names, “Iron Man!” and “Spider-Man!” and some other fella with a hammer…Thor, I think they call him.

It’s good for the young’uns, ya know? Keeps ’em busy and outta trouble. And it ain’t too hard, even an old lady like me can figure it out. Just push some buttons and things go boom. Simple as that.
They say it takes ’bout twelve hours to finish the main part, but if you wanna get everything, like all the little doodads and whatnots, you’re lookin’ at forty hours or somethin’. That’s a lotta time, but hey, if it keeps the kids happy, I ain’t complainin’. Gives me time to get some peace and quiet, maybe watch my stories on the TV.
This Lego game, it’s better than some of them other Marvel games, I hear. My grandson, he used to play one with the Avengers, but he said it was kinda clunky. This one, it’s smooth like butter, he says. And it’s funny, too. Not like laugh-out-loud funny, but it makes you chuckle sometimes. Like when them Lego fellas do silly things.
The best part, though? It’s somethin’ you can play with the kids, or the grandkids, or even just by yourself if you’re feelin’ lonely. It’s just…nice. A nice way to pass the time, ya know? No stress, no worries, just smashin’ and collectin’ and havin’ a good time.
So, yeah, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ fun and easy, somethin’ that’ll make you smile, this Lego Marvel Super Heroes game is a good bet. It ain’t rocket science, but it’ll keep ya entertained. And that’s all that matters, right? A little bit of fun in this crazy world.
My only problem with it? Well, my grandkids, they keep hoggin’ the game controller. Maybe I need to get myself one, so I can smash some stuff too. Heck, maybe I’ll even beat ’em at their own game. That’ll show ’em.
Anyways, that’s my two cents on this here Lego Marvel thing. It’s good, clean fun. And sometimes, that’s all you need.
One more thing, though. It would be nice if they could play together online, ya know? Like, if my grandson was at his momma’s house, he could still play with his brother here. But, oh well, can’t have everything I guess. Still a good game, even without that.
Alright, I’m done talkin’ now. Go get the game, play it, have fun. And don’t forget to smash everything in sight. That’s the best part!
