deadpool video game review ps4
Alright, so listen up, y’all. I’m gonna tell ya ’bout this here Deadpool video game on that PS4 thingy. My grandson, he got it, and I watched him play some. Don’t know much ’bout these games, but I can tell ya what I saw.
First off, this Deadpool fella, he’s a real loudmouth. Always yappin’ and crackin’ jokes. Some of ’em are funny, I guess, like when he talks to the folks on the TV screen. But sometimes he just goes on and on, and I’m like, “Hush up and get to the fightin’ already!” He’s always breakin’ the fourth wall, whatever that means. Talkin’ to you like you’re right there with him. It’s kinda weird, but I guess that’s his thing.
Now, the fightin’, that’s where it gets interestin’. Deadpool, he’s got these swords and guns, and he just goes to town on them bad guys. Slashin’ and shootin’ and blowin’ stuff up. It’s pretty wild, I tell ya. He can teleport around, too, which is kinda neat. Makes it hard for them bad guys to hit him. But sometimes the fightin’ gets a bit…samey. You know, just pushin’ the same buttons over and over. My grandson, he didn’t seem to mind though, he was havin’ a grand ol’ time.
- Lots of shootin’ and stabbin’
- That Deadpool guy talks a whole lot
- He makes jokes, some good, some not so good
- Teleportin’ around like a blinkin’ light
The story, well, I couldn’t really follow it all. Something ’bout some bad guys and Deadpool havin’ to stop ’em. There’s this other fella, Cable, looks like a tough one. He’s got that metal arm and big guns. And this girl, Domino, she’s lucky or somethin’. They team up with Deadpool for a bit. Honestly, it’s all a bit of a jumble, but it’s got explosions and stuff, so that’s somethin’, right?
My grandson told me that this game, it’s kinda hard to find now. Something ’bout the company that made it losin’ the rights to use Deadpool. Sounds like a bunch of hogwash to me, but he says that’s why it’s so special. He says it’s a “gem” for folks who like Deadpool. I guess if you like all that yappin’ and fightin’, then you’ll like this game.

The game, it looks alright, I guess. Not like them real-life pictures, but not bad neither. The places they go, they’re kinda all over the place. One minute they’re in a sewer, the next they’re on some fancy rooftop. It keeps things movin’, that’s for sure.
So, is this Deadpool game any good? Well, like I said, I don’t know much ’bout these things. But my grandson, he seems to like it a lot. He plays it over and over. Said somethin’ about it bein’ a “remastered” version on his PS4, whatever that means. Said it’s better than the old one on that Xbox thing. So, I guess it must be pretty good if he keeps playin’ it.
If you like them superhero fellas and you don’t mind a whole lot of talkin’ and fightin’, then this Deadpool game might be somethin’ you’d enjoy. Just be ready for a whole lot of craziness. And don’t expect it to make too much sense, ’cause it sure didn’t to me. But hey, sometimes it’s fun to just watch stuff blow up, right?
This here PS4 version, my grandson says it’s the one to get if you can find it. He keeps talkin’ about how it looks better and plays smoother. I just nod along, pretendin’ I understand all that technical mumbo jumbo. All I know is, he’s happy with it, and that’s all that matters, I reckon.
Overall, it’s a loud, crazy, shoot-em-up game with a fella who talks too much. If that sounds like your cup of tea, then go for it. Just don’t come cryin’ to me if you don’t understand what’s goin’ on half the time.
