Alright, let’s talk about them best World War 2 strategy PC games, you know, the kind that make you think a bit, not just shooty-shooty bang-bang all the time.
I ain’t no expert, mind you, but I’ve seen my grandkids playin’ some of these games, and even I can tell which ones are good and which ones are just… meh.
First off, there’s this Steel Division 2 thing. Heard it’s from 2019. My grandson, he’s always yellin’ ’bout tanks and divisions and whatnot. Seems complicated, lots of moving parts, like a big ol’ clock but with more guns. If you like that kinda stuff, fiddlin’ with units and plannin’ things out, this might be your cup of tea. It’s on the PC, so you don’t need one of them fancy game boxes.
Then there’s Company of Heroes 3. They say they’re “nailing it,” whatever that means. Sounds like they’re workin’ hard on it, makin’ it real good. Company of Heroes, I remember that name. My other grandson, he played that one, always talkin’ ’bout snipers and ambushes. If this new one’s anything like the old ones, it’s gonna be a good’un, plenty of action and thinkin’ involved.

Ain’t gotta spend your hard-earned money to play it.
And if you like planes, there’s this War Thunder game. It’s got planes, tanks, even boats! From all them countries that were fightin’ in the war. It’s kinda like World of Tanks but with more stuff. My nephew, he plays this one all the time. Says it’s fun, but can be tricky. You gotta learn how to fly them planes, and that ain’t easy, let me tell ya.
War Thunder is good if you want somethin’ that’s kinda in-between. Not too complicated, not too simple. Just right, like Goldilocks and her porridge, you know?
Let’s not forget them older games, like Call of Duty and Medal of Honor. Yeah, they got their shooty-shooty parts, but some of ’em, like Call of Duty: United Offensive, Call of Duty II, Call of Duty World at War, Medal of Honor: Frontline and Rising Sun, they got some strategy too. You gotta think about where you’re goin’, who you’re shootin’, and all that. They’re old, but they’re still good. Like a good ol’ pair of shoes, you know? Comfortable and reliable.
Now, for the real brainy fellas, there’s these super complicated games. They were talkin’ ’bout one called… somethin’ about North Africa… and it takes like 1500 hours to play! Can you believe that? 1500 hours! That’s like… a whole year of playin’ if you play a few hours every day. Crazy, right? That one’s called… somethin’ somethin’ SPI… from way back in 1978. Unless you’re a real war nut, I’d stick to the other ones.
So, there you have it. Some of them best World War 2 strategy PC games, accordin’ to… well, accordin’ to what I’ve heard and seen. There’s somethin’ for everyone, whether you like tanks, planes, or just good ol’ fashioned thinkin’. Just remember to have fun, and don’t spend too much time starin’ at that screen.
