Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Genshin Impact sex mod thing. I ain’t no expert, mind you, but from what I hear, it’s all about folks messin’ with the game, addin’ stuff that ain’t supposed to be there. You know, like them fancy city folks with their fancy cars, always tinkerin’ and changin’ things.

I saw some pictures, and let me tell ya, it’s mighty embarrassin’. Them characters, the ones you see runnin’ around fightin’ monsters? Well, some folks got ’em wearin’ next to nothin’. Like that Raiden gal, just a tiny bikini thing, barely coverin’ anything. My old eyes ain’t seen nothin’ like it since that time the Johnson boy skinny-dipped in the creek.

Now, they call these things “NSFW mods.” I ain’t sure what that means exactly, but I reckon it ain’t somethin’ you wanna show your grandma, or the preacher for that matter. It’s all about, well, you know… *sex*. Folks makin’ them game characters do things they ain’t meant to. Like that Lumine girl, I heard they got her, uh… with some other fella. It’s all a bit much for an old lady like me.

• There are videos, too. Lots of ’em, apparently. They call ’em “hentai” somethin’ or other. Sounds foreign to me.
• And they got these “private servers,” where they can do whatever they want with the game. It’s like their own little world, where they can make the characters do all sorts of things. I heard someone talkin’ about downloadin’ one. Sounded mighty complicated to me.
• They even got a character named Hu Tao, and they’re doin’ things with her, too. It’s like nobody’s safe from these modders.

It’s a whole community of folks, they call ’em the “GI Modding Community.” They make all sorts of things, not just the… you know, the *sexy* stuff. But that’s what folks seem to be talkin’ about most. You can find these things all over the internet, apparently. Places like Rule34video, whatever that is, and xHamster, which sounds even worse.

Now, I heard tell that this ain’t exactly legal. Seems like the folks who made Genshin Impact ain’t too happy about it. And the police might get involved, too, though I can’t imagine why they’d care about some silly video game characters. Someone said it’s like cheatin’, but I don’t see how. Ain’t nobody gettin’ hurt, as far as I can tell.

But then again, I heard someone sayin’ these mods don’t have nudity or replace character models, so maybe I’m just confused. It’s hard to keep up with all this newfangled technology. Back in my day, the only game we had was tossin’ rocks at tin cans, and nobody ever got naked doin’ that.

Anyway, that’s the gist of it, as best as I can understand. Folks takin’ a game and makin’ it… well, makin’ it *sexy*. It ain’t somethin’ I’d recommend, mind you. But then again, I’m just an old lady, what do I know?

It just seems like a lot of fuss over nothin’ to me. People should just play the game the way it was meant to be played, instead of messin’ around with all these mods. But then again, young folks these days, they always gotta be pushin’ the boundaries, don’t they?

It’s a whole different world out there now. And I reckon I’m just too old to understand it.
