anthem what hardware was the game demo being played on
[Body]
Alright, so y’all wanna know ’bout that Anthem game demo, huh? Lemme tell ya, it was somethin’ else. Now, I ain’t no fancy tech person or nothin’, but I saw it with my own two eyes, and I can tell ya what I saw.
They was playin’ this game on some kinda machine, looked like a big box with lights and stuff. They called it a “PC”, and some other ones, they said “PS4” and “Xbox One”. Sounded like fancy names for toys to me, but them youngsters, they sure love ’em. Heard tell it’s comin’ out February 22nd, so mark yer calendars if ya want it.
The game, it was all about shootin’ and flyin’ around in these metal suits. Reminded me of them iron men from the movies, but these here suits, they could fly real good. The fella playin’, he was zoomin’ all over the place, blastin’ bad guys left and right. It looked like fun, I ain’t gonna lie. But shoot, the ammo, he didn’t have much of it. Kept runnin’ out, had to find more. They say that changes when you get further in the game though, so maybe it ain’t so bad.
- They was usin’ them “controllers”, little things with buttons and sticks, to make the characters move and shoot. Looked complicated, but I guess ya get used to it.
- The graphics, they were somethin’ else. Real pretty, like lookin’ at a picture, but it was movin’! They had all sorts of trees and rocks and stuff, looked real natural. And the explosions, they were big and loud, just how I like ’em!
- The fella playin’, he was fightin’ all sorts of critters and robots. Big ones, small ones, some with wings, some with claws. It was a real mess, but he seemed to handle it alright.
Now, this demo, it wasn’t the whole game, ya understand? They just showed off a little bit, the fightin’ and the flyin’. They didn’t show no story or nothin’, just straight-up action. And they didn’t let ya pick yer own character or nothin’, just threw ya right in the middle of it. Kinda like learnin’ to swim by gettin’ tossed in the deep end, I reckon.

They said this demo was different from the real game. Like, the balancin’ was all different, and the money stuff wasn’t the same. And they didn’t have no tutorials, so ya had to figure things out on yer own. Sounded kinda tough to me, but like I said, them youngsters, they like a challenge.
I heard tell this game, it had some troubles. Lots of bugs and problems when it first came out. And the folks makin’ it, they had some disagreements or somethin’, and a bunch of ’em left. They tried to fix it up, make it better, but in the end, they just gave up on it. Shame, really. It looked like it had potential.
So, if ya wanna play this Anthem game, ya gotta have one of them fancy machines, the PC, the PS4, or the Xbox One. And ya gotta get the game, of course. They had some kinda special demo thing, for folks who pre-ordered it or joined some club, but that’s all done now. Now, I reckon you just gotta buy the whole thing. And hope it works better than it did when it first came out!
Minimum Specs and System Requirements, they said ya needed certain things to make the game run smooth. Sounded like a whole lotta gibberish to me, but I guess it’s important if ya want things to look pretty and not all choppy. They said somethin’ about “Windows” for the PC, and somethin’ about controllers workin’ with it. Like I said, gibberish.
So there ya have it, that’s what I know ’bout that Anthem game demo. It was a whole lotta shootin’ and flyin’, looked pretty, but had some troubles. Whether it’s worth yer time and money, well, that’s for you to decide. Me, I’ll stick to my crossword puzzles.
