Alright, let’s talk about them Android game thingies, you know, the ones that play them old games? Like that Game Boy stuff my grandson always yaps about. He’s always fiddlin’ with his phone, says he’s playin’ somethin’ called “Retroarch.” Sounds fancy, but looks like them old games I used to see back in the day.

Now, I ain’t no tech whiz, but I can tell ya, these things, they ain’t just phones no more. They got these insides, somethin’ called hardware, that lets ‘em do all sorts of stuff. My grandson tells me they can even play games from when I was a young’un, them NES and SNES games. He says somethin’ about “8-bit” and “16-bit,” sounds like gibberish to me, but the games look kinda familiar.

He showed me this one thing, a Game Boy Advance, or somethin’. Tiny little thing, but the games on it, they look pretty good, even for an old lady like me. He says lots of folks liked them games back in the 2000s. I guess good games is good games, no matter when they was made.

And get this, there’s these other gadgets too, not just phones. He calls ’em “handheld emulators” and “Single Board Computers”. Sounds complicated, but they’re basically little game machines, smaller than a breadbox, and they can play all sorts of old games. He’s got this one, a TrimUI Smart Pro he calls it, says it can even play them PlayStation and N64 games. I remember them PlayStations, always saw ’em in the store, cost a pretty penny back then.
