And the looks! Oh, the looks. You can make your character look like anyone you want. Red hair, blue hair, even green hair! My grandson made one with pink hair once. Looked like a cotton candy exploded on his head. You can pick their clothes too. Fancy dresses, or tough armor, or whatever you think looks good.

But the most important part, my grandson says, is the backstory. That’s like… the story of where your character comes from. Were they a farmer? A soldier? A runaway princess? It makes ’em feel real, he says. Like they actually lived somewhere before you started playin’ with ’em. He spends hours writin’ these backstories. Says it makes the game more fun.

Now, I ain’t no gamer, mind you. I prefer a good ol’ game of mahjong with my friends. But this generator thingy, it seems kinda neat. Like makin’ up stories, but with pictures. And you get to play with the characters you made up! My grandson says there’s even some free genshin oc maker online. He even showed me somethin’ called “check-in rewards and game tools”. I don’t understand but he says it’s good.
