Well, let me tell ya, these young folks these days, always glued to their phones. And what’s this I hear about a “Genshin Impact”? Sounds like a lot of noise to me, but they sure do like it. Now, they’re even putting pictures of it on their phone cases! Imagine that!
I saw my grandson, that little rascal, with one of them cases. It had some kinda fancy picture on it, a girl with purple hair, I think. He told me it was a “Raiden Shogun” or somethin’. Landsakes, these names they come up with! He says it protects his phone, but mostly, I think he just likes showin’ it off.
Anyways, seems like there’s a whole bunch of these cases. You got ‘em for all sorts of phones, them Samsungs and them… I-phones, was it? My daughter has one of those, always tappin’ away on it. She says you can even get cases with different pictures, all sorts of characters from this “Genshin” thing.

- Others got this fella with a big hat, looks like he’s up to no good. My grandson called him “Scaramouche.” Sounded like a villain to me.
- And then there’s a whole bunch more, boys and girls, all dressed up in fancy clothes. Must be a real popular game, this Genshin.
Now, I ain’t no expert on these here phone cases, but I hear they’re good for keepin’ your phone from gettin’ all scratched up. And that’s important, I guess. These phones, they cost a pretty penny these days. Back in my day, we didn’t have such things. We just talked to each other face to face!
From what I gather, you can get these cases pretty much anywhere. My grandson, he got his online, but I saw some at the store the other day, right next to the batteries and the… whatchamacallits, them ear thingies for listenin’ to music. They had all sorts of colors and designs, even some sparkly ones. Made my eyes hurt just lookin’ at ‘em.

My grandson was tellin’ me you gotta have a good phone to even play the game, somethin’ about “Snapdragons” and “Apples.” Sounded like a grocery list to me.

But honestly, I don’t see the point. Back in my day, we kept our phones in our pockets, and they were just fine. But times change, I guess. And if these kids wanna put pictures of their “Genshin Impact” on their phones, well, that’s their business. Just as long as they don’t forget to call their grandma every now and then.
