until dawn game review

Alright, so lemme tell ya about this here game, “Until Dawn.” Now, I ain’t no fancy gamer or nothin’, but I played it, and I got some things to say.

First off, when ya look at it, Until Dawn, it just seems like any other scary game, ya know? The kind where stuff jumps out at ya and makes ya spill yer tea. But lemme tell ya, it’s more than that.

This here game, it’s like one of them teen slasher movies, but ya get to be in it! I tell ya, it’s somethin’ else. The folks who made it, Supermassive Games, they really done somethin’ special. They made a game that, well, it sticks with ya.

Now, they went and made a new one, a remake they call it. Folks weren’t really askin’ for it, but they did it anyways. And the reviews, well, they’re kinda all over the place. That there IGN fella, he gave it a five outta ten. Said the old one was better, gave that one a seven and a half. Goes to show ya, sometimes new ain’t always better.

• But here’s the thing about this game, it’s all about choosin’.
• Ya gotta decide who lives and who… well, who don’t.
• It’s all on you.

Folks ask, how long’s it take to play? Well, if ya just wanna get through it, it’s about eight hours, give or take. But if ya wanna see everything, do everything, it’ll take ya closer to nineteen hours. That’s a lotta tea time, let me tell ya.

This new one, they made it look better, they say. And they added some new stuff too. Made the characters feel more real, like they could be yer neighbor’s kid, or that fella down the street. And them wendigo things? Oh, they’re scary alright. Scarier than a grumpy old cat, I tell ya.

So, is it worth playin’? Well, that depends on what yer lookin’ for. If ya like scary stuff, if ya like makin’ choices that matter, then yeah, I reckon it is. It ain’t perfect, mind ya. But it’s somethin’ different. It’s a game that’ll make ya jump, make ya think, and maybe even make ya spill yer tea a few times.

And that’s the thing about this here Until Dawn. It ain’t just about the scares, it’s about the story, about the folks in it. You get to know ’em, you get to care about ’em, and then ya gotta watch some of ’em die. It ain’t easy, let me tell ya. It ain’t easy at all.

I reckon that’s all I gotta say about it. It’s a game, it’s scary, it’s got choices. If that sounds like yer cup of tea, then give it a whirl. Just don’t blame me if ya spill it.
