best strategy games ipad
Alright, listen up, y’all. Gonna tell ya ’bout them strategy games on that iPad thingy. My grandkids, they got one, and lemme tell ya, it ain’t just for lookin’ at pretty pictures.
You got all sorts of games on that thing. Action games, where things go boom-boom, and puzzles, where you gotta scratch your head a bit. But these strategy games, they’re somethin’ else. They make you think, you know? Like plannin’ where to plant your corn so the deer don’t eat it all.
Now, they got this thing called an “App Store,” looks like a little blue square with a white A in it. That’s where you get all yer games. And they got a bunch of free ones, too! Don’t gotta spend yer hard-earned money if ya don’t want to. My grandkids, they always lookin’ for the free stuff, smart kids.
One time, my grandson was playin’ this game, looked like a bunch of little fellers fightin’ each other. He was movin’ ’em around on the screen, like chess pieces but with more swords and arrows. Heard him yellin’ ’bout “resources” and “buildin’ a base.” Sounded complicated, but he seemed to know what he was doin’.
They say some sports games are strategy games too. Like them soccer ones, you know, where they kick the ball around. You gotta think about who to pass the ball to, and how to get it in the net. It ain’t just runnin’ around like a chicken with its head cut off, that’s for sure.
- Free Games: Like I said, lots of free games in that App Store. Just gotta look for ’em. They got these lists, “Top Charts” and “Free” they call ’em. Poke around there, you’ll find somethin’.
- Fancy Games: Some games cost money, but they say they’re real fancy. My grandkids ain’t sprung for them yet, though. They’re happy with the free stuff.
Heard tell of games where you gotta run a whole kingdom, or even a space station! Imagine that, a whole kingdom in that little iPad thing. You gotta make sure your people got enough food, and that nobody’s attackin’ ya. Sounds like a lot of work, if you ask me. But the young’uns, they seem to like it.
Now, this iPad thing, it needs a certain kinda… software, they call it. Somethin’ like iOS 11 or iPadOS 11. Don’t ask me what that means, sounds like gibberish to me. But the grandkids say it’s important, so it must be.
And there’s this “Game Center” thing, and somethin’ called “Apple Arcade.” More fancy words, I tell ya. From what I gather, Game Center is where you can see how good you are compared to other folks, and Apple Arcade is where you get even more games, but you gotta pay for it. Like a club, I guess.
They got games about buildin’ stuff, and games about fightin’ stuff, and games about tradin’ stuff. Seems like there’s a strategy game for just about anything you can think of. Heck, they probably got a game about milkin’ cows, wouldn’t surprise me none.
So, if you got one of them iPads and you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to keep your brain busy, try one of them strategy games. Might just surprise ya. Just remember to keep an eye on them in-app purchases, though. Them little fellers can sneak up on ya and empty yer wallet faster than a fox in a henhouse.
And don’t be afraid to try different games, ya know? Just ’cause you don’t like one doesn’t mean you won’t like another. There’s a whole world of games out there, just waitin’ to be discovered. And if you find a good free one, let me know, okay? I’ll tell my grandkids. They always lookin’ for somethin’ new.
