outsmarted game review
Well now, let me tell ya ’bout this here game, “Outsmarted.” Folks call it a “game review,” but I just call it like I see it.
First off, they say you gotta buy it. Yep, nothin’ in this world is free, not even a bit o’ fun. But they say once ya get it, ya can play with folks far away. Imagine that! My Susie moved clear across the county, and now, with this here thingamajig, we can play like she’s sittin’ right next to me.
- They say it’s a “trivia game.” Sounds fancy, but it just means they ask ya questions.
- And it ain’t just for young’uns, mind you. Even us old fogeys can play. They say it levels the playin’ field, which I reckon means everyone gets a fair shake.
Now, I ain’t the brightest bulb in the box, but even I could figure this game out. It ain’t complicated like them newfangled phones. Just answer the questions and see if ya got it right. Simple as that.
They talk about “immersive experience” and “exciting.” Well, I dunno ’bout all them big words, but it sure is fun. Keeps ya on yer toes, ya know? Makes ya think a bit, which is good for the brain, they say. Even if my brain ain’t what it used to be.
And get this, ya can play it on them phone thingies and them tablet doohickeys. My grandson showed me. He’s got one of them “iPads,” I think he called it. Fancy stuff. But it works! And that’s mighty convenient, ain’t it?

I heard tell it’s the first game of its kind, lettin’ folks play together even when they ain’t together. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? Progress, they call it. Back in my day, we just played checkers with whoever was sittin’ on the porch. But times change, I guess.
Playing the Game
So, how do ya play? Well, it’s like this. They ask ya questions, and ya gotta pick the right answer. Sometimes it’s easy, like “what color is the sky?” But sometimes they try to trick ya, them sneaky fellers. But that’s part of the fun, ain’t it? Trying to outsmart the game, just like the name says.
And it ain’t just a one-person thing. Ya can play with the whole family, even that grumpy Uncle Joe. Get him involved, might do him some good. And like I said, Susie can play from far away. It’s like havin’ her here for game night, without her actually bein’ here, if ya know what I mean.
They say it’s “challenging.” Well, it is and it ain’t. Some questions are easy, some are hard. But that’s what makes it fun, right? If it was too easy, it’d be borin’. And if it was too hard, well, I’d just give up and go back to knittin’.
What I Think
So, what do I think of this here “Outsmarted” game? Well, I reckon it’s a good’un. It’s fun, it’s easy to learn, and it brings folks together. And that’s what matters most, ain’t it? Spendin’ time with the ones ya love, even if they’re miles away.
And it keeps the brain workin’, which is important, especially when ya get to be my age. So yeah, I’d say give it a try. Ya might just like it. And if ya don’t, well, at least ya tried somethin’ new. That’s what I always say. Can’t hurt to try, right?

It ain’t just for young folks neither, this game. It’s for everyone. Grandma, Grandpa, the kids, even that weird cousin nobody talks about. Get ‘em all together and have some fun. That’s what life’s all about, ain’t it? Good times and good company. And if this here game can help bring a little bit of that into your life, well, then I’d say it’s worth every penny.
Now, go on and try it. And tell Susie I said hello.
