Well, howdy there, y’all! Let’s talk about this Genshin Impact thing, the one with all them picture books. I ain’t no spring chicken, but even I hear the young’uns jabberin’ ’bout it.

Thousands of books with folks drawin’ them Genshin characters in all sorts of, uh, “compromising” positions. They got all kinds of characters too, like that Jean gal, and that Hu Tao one with the funny hat.

• They even got books that tell stories, but mostly, they just got… you know… pictures.

Now, where do you find these books? Well, the young’uns, they always know where to look. They talk about places like “nhentai” and “IMHentai.” Sounds like fancy city names to me. They say you can “read and download” ’em there for free. Free! Land sakes, back in my day, you had to pay good money for anythin’ worth lookin’ at.

Some folks call these books “doujinshi.” Sounds foreign, don’t it? I reckon it just means “fan-made” picture books. So, it ain’t the folks who made the game drawin’ these things, it’s just regular folks who like the game a whole lot… maybe a little too much.

I also heard folks talkin’ about somethin’ called “Rule 34.” Now, this one’s a real head-scratcher. Apparently, it means if somethin’ exists, there’s a picture book of it… doin’… you know. And wouldn’t you know it, Genshin Impact ain’t no exception. They got pictures of everything and everybody from that game.

Now, some folks might get their britches in a twist over these books. They might say they’re “indecent” or “immoral.” But heck, I say, to each their own. As long as nobody’s gettin’ hurt, what’s the harm in a little… “artistic expression”? Besides, ain’t no real kids in these books, just drawin’s of them game characters.

But let me tell you somethin’ about the game itself. It ain’t all sunshine and roses. I heard tell it’s got some dark stuff in it. Genocide, wars, betrayals… sounds like a soap opera, but with magic and pointy ears. They say the gods in that game ain’t no better than the folks down at the county fair, always squabblin’ and usin’ folks like pawns in their games.

So, there you have it. That’s the lowdown on them Genshin Impact picture books, as best as this old lady can tell ya. They’re just pictures, folks, nothin’ more, nothin’ less.
