ps4 strategy war games
Oh honey, you wanna know about them… what you call ’em? PS4 strategy war games? Alright, sit down, I’ll tell ya what I know. Games, games, games, all these young folks do is play games. Back in my day, we didn’t have no fancy boxes with moving pictures. We had dirt and sticks! But I hear some of these games, they make you think, like chess but with more… stuff happening.
Now, from what I gathered, these war games, they’re about battles and armies and such. You gotta plan and figure things out, like where to put your fellas and who to fight. They tell me there’s this one, Call of Duty, somethin’ somethin’ Cold War. Cold, like the winter we had in ’78? Brrr, nearly froze my chickens that year. Anyway, this Call of Duty, folks seem to like it. Lots of shootin’ and explodin’ I reckon.
- Then there’s another one, they call it WWII. World War Two, you know, the big one? My brother, bless his soul, he went off to fight in that one. Never came back. This game, it’s supposed to be like that, all gritty and serious. Don’t know why anyone would want to play somethin’ like that, but to each their own, I guess.
- And they got these games with spaceships and robots and all sorts of crazy things. Strategy games, they call ’em. One’s called XCOM 2. Sounds like a robot’s name! You gotta move your little guys around and shoot aliens, or somethin’. Like checkers but with lasers!
Then there’s this thing called Age of Empires. Empires? Like kings and queens and castles? Heard they might be bringin’ it to the PS5, whatever that is. More fancy boxes, I suppose. Kids these days, always wantin’ the newest thing.
Oh, and there’s Marvel Midnight Suns. Now, I know a little bit about Marvel, seein’ as my grandson is always wearin’ them funny shirts with the pictures. This one, it’s got cards and battles, they say. Sounds complicated to me, but he seems to like it.
You know, some folks say even football games are strategy games. PES and FIFA, they call ’em. My George, he used to love watchin’ the football on the telly. Screamin’ and jumpin’ around like a loon. Never understood it myself. Just a bunch of fellas kickin’ a ball. But I guess you gotta plan things, where to run and who to pass to, like in them war games.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a game where you gotta think, one of them strategy war games might be right up your alley. Just remember, they ain’t real life. Real war is ugly and sad. These games, they’re just for fun. Now go on, have fun, but don’t forget to eat your vegetables and call your grandma once in a while!
Grand Ages: Medieval, that’s another one they mention. Menus and economies, they say. Sounds like a headache to me. But if you like fiddlin’ with numbers and such, maybe you’d enjoy it. Reminds me of when I had to balance the books for the church bake sale. Never could get those numbers to add up right.
They say PC games got more of these strategy games. Computers, they call ’em. Remember when we got our first television? Black and white, tiny little screen. Now they got these computers that can do all sorts of things. Amazing, really.
